Job Summary
We are looking for a Manager to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts at Huey Magoo's, a chicken tender fast casual restaurant. Managers responsibilities include money handling, opening/closing the store, running shifts, being knowledgeable in all aspects of running the restaurant and able to step into any position as needed, managing staff, resolving conflicts, training employees, and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager required
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification a plus
  • Effective interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs
  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours 
Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
  • Assign duties to staff as needed
  • Train and coach new employees
  • Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
  • Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed
  • Address customer and employee complaints
  • Resolve conflicts between workers
  • Foster and maintain a positive work environment Skills
  • Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
  • Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to excellent service
  • Working well within a team
  • Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude
  • Provide leadership to each team member and make sure each customer gets a fast, accurate and friendly experience.
  • Responsible for managing systems such as training, food safety, customer/employee safety and security, cash handling and inventory management.
  • Must be able to set targets, delegate tasks, follow up and report to the Assistant or General Manager.
  • Be able to identify training opportunities with fellow team members, train team members to communicate with customers to ensure we are providing a friendly experience.
  • Required to complete daily food safety checks including FIFO, secondary code dates, Health Inspections and be able to actively monitor food handling in the restaurant.
  • Engage in customer/employee safety including keeping the restaurant a clean and safe environment.
  • Have basic cash handling skills.
  • Understand and enforce all applicable Child Labor Laws
  • Maintain a professional appearance and hold all team members accountable to wear the correct uniforms.
  • Must have great communication skills and a positive, encouraging attitude! 
Compensation: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
